Organisation WhangaStoryStories Past Present Future
Preserving Whangamatā’s History — Together
Whangamatā has a story that stretches across generations — from early settlement through forestry, farming, harbour life, flooding events, surfing culture and community change.
Much of that history lives in private albums, memory boxes and family recollections.
WhangaStory exists to respectfully collect, preserve and share that history for future generations.

Full details and entry forms are available at: www.whangastory.nz

All complete entries meeting published standards will receive a Certificate of Participation.
